HIP SNOW HISS

The Housing Market does seem to have been mesmerised by the snow and ice.

Orders for Home Information Packs (HIPS) have been hit by the weather.

The snow has deterred people from putting their property onto the market for sale, with the result that orders are somewhat down on the same period last year.

With the weather looking to improve over the weekend, our hunch is that Estate Agents may be busier than normal in dealing with the pent up demand which the snow has caused.

In case you were unaware, you must now have a HIP in place before you are able to market your property for sale in England and Wales.
